Illinois Fashion Designer Stephanie “Mizz Stefoni” Butts started out as a modern dancer at the Marshall Lindsey School of Dance and Charm. At the age of 7 years old Stephanie’s dance teacher Richardo Marshall Linsey introduced her to the runway. Modeling for many agencies and clothing companies, Stephanie felt that there was much more to her than just a unique pose or walk. 2001 is when she began to sketch her visions out on paper. After going to many boutiques looking for the perfect prom dress, she decided to make her own dress. Slipping and showing off her design to one of her high school girl friends, she found herself using the visions of her creativity to make other girls in her class as well as girls from other schools prom dresses fit for royalty. In 2005 the former dancer/model love for fashion inspired her to develop her own clothing line, from this love Stefoni was created.

Stefoni designs contemporary women ready-to-wear/couture creations. She combines a classic silhouette with modern elements, creating a fresh look that is fashionable for today's adventurous woman. The concept behind Stefoni designs is a walking contradiction: sweet and spicy, naughty and nice, old and new, a unique interchangeable timeless style.

Now, more than ready to make her sketches come alive, She will be launching her clothing line with a fashion show fall of 2011.
